[Empowering You] A journey to brieng a "Tet of Love" To Children at Thao Dan

As Lunar New Year draws near, we find ourselves looking back at a meaningful milestone from one year ago — the moment ASIF Foundation officially partnered with Thao Dan Social Protection Center to launch the project “Empowering You – "Improving Comprehensive and sustainable learning capacity for students in special circumstances in Ho Chi Minh City.”

ASIF Foundation accompanies the “Tet of Love 2026” Program by Thao Dan Social Enterprise

One year may not seem long, yet it has been enough for trust to take root and for small, steady changes to emerge. To date, the project has provided scholarships to more than 160 students, including 40 children who receive long-term, comprehensive support — not only through financial assistance, but through presence, listening, and patience.

On February 1st, at Kien Thiet Secondary School — the very first school whose teachers have accompanied the project — Thao Dan Social Enterprise hosted the “Tet of Love 2026” Gala, welcoming nearly 150 students and parents. The atmosphere was warm and deeply emotional, highlighted by a mini exhibition showcasing authentic stories from the past year’s journey, along with handcrafted products lovingly made by the children themselves.

The program continued with the Tet of Love Fair, filled with laughter echoing through each booth and game, and thoughtfully prepared Tet gifts. These gifts will be delivered to each family ahead of the Lunar New Year, carrying wishes for a warmer, more fulfilling Tet.
